Bookkeeping is centuries old discipline that deals with keeping proper record of the money received and spent and the other financial matters in a systematic manner providing useful and timely information for an individual and a business owner to make the right decisions. Keeping proper and up to date record of business financial transactions; income and expenses is a mandatory requirement of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Government of Canda. A business enterprise is required to prepare accurate, reliable, and timely accounting record (financial statements) and reports for the use of different stakeholders having interests in the business and also to pay the accurate income and other taxes.
